It's official. I found a new home for my budgies =( They're so sweet and I love them so much, but I'm too afraid they'll bite me to put my hand in the cage and bond with them. It's going to be so quiet in our home now =_(
Since becoming an adult, I've had the saying "don't adopt a pet that you don't intend to have 'til death do you part" It's not fair to the animal to be bounced around, feeling unloved and unwanted. That's one of the things that makes this so hard. I feel like I've failed them. That I'm a bad 'mom' for not being able to give them the full attention they need. But in the same sense, they're going to a good family that raises budgies and are very social and active with their other birds. I know it's the right thing for my budgies, but it still hurts.
