1/2 cup

So, I've said several times that I'm not having trouble with portion control... I realized this morning, that I actually am having trouble with it. I decided instead of guesstimating what a 1/2 cup looked like, I would take the time to measure it. Wow! Have I been wrong!! I've probably been eating closer to a full cup! Still a LOT smaller portions than I used to eat, but double what I should be eating...

The good news - I am completely satisfied with that 1/2 cup. I didn't get anywhere near full. I didn't take that extra bite "b/c it was there". And most important, there was NO discomfort AT ALL!!

I am a little worried that I'll burn too many calories at work and be crazy hungry this afternoon - but this feeling of satiety is wonderful =)

That is awesome that you are feeling satiated with 1/2 cup and no fill. Keep working it!! :)

I have had one fill - I believe I have 2ccs. I got it 2 days before crossing over to solid foods for the first time. Solid foods are much more difficult than liquids and mushies!! You really have to pay attention, slow down, and chew! I thought I missed chewing... Now I don't want to take the time! Haha!

And thanks! I had 1/2c frosted mini wheats for breakfast and 1/2c shrimp alfredo (only about 5 noodles) for dinner, no lunch, and am not hungry! =)
