I didn't even realize a month had already passed since surgery. I'd say I'm doing amazing 90-95% of the time. I'm working out - swimming laps nearly every day and burning a bazillion calories running around like a crazy person at work - but should probably step it up another level. My portion sizes are spot-on, if I make the meal myself. If not, it is much more difficult to remember. Food choices are slowly but surely changing to the healthier side. I'm mostly focused on protein over fruits and veggies b/c I don't want to lose my hair =/ but I'm not filling in the extra with junk, so for me that is big progress. Most difficult things are 1) not drinking while eating or for an hour after 2) I want a Dr Pepper and 3) remembering my daily multivitamin.
Weigh-in and measurements on Wednesday, July 25.
I'm scheduled for an adjustment/fill. I do still think about food a lot (not b/c of or at work) and get head-hunger, so I'm sure I'm not in the green zone yet - but when I follow strictly to the rules (4oz and no drinking), I am completely satisfied with every meal. The green zone is supposed to be the band changing the way the hunger nerves affect your brain... I wonder what that's like?
