Most complain of bad abdominal pain and extreme soreness around the port and incisions. I have not had that at all. My incisions are occasionally uncomfortable if I twist or bend too suddenly or try to use my ab muscles more than I'm ready for. But overall, no pain there. They're healing so they're very itchy today.
My pain has been from the gas. WOW!!! I've been struggling with air pockets traveling throughout my body for 4 days! Mostly around the diaphragm - it always feels like it'll come up as a burp, then doesn't. It will travel up behind my esophagus into the left side of my chest (feels like a heart attack!!) then into my shoulder and down my left arm. If I didn't know what it was, I would have thought I was having strokes all weekend.
Today, I feel significantly better. There's some gas left, bouncing between diaphragm and collar bone, but no where near what it has been.
