Sorry for my absence. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. My next appointment and weigh-in isn't for another week. That's the longest I've gne between appointments. Being so close to the green zone, they had me switch from 2week appts to 3weeks. I think in November, I'll be moving to 4weeks. I might have to break down and buy a scale at that point. I like my 2week weigh-ins. Four weeks is too long!
In the last two weeks, I've gotten stuck 2 or 3 times and had 1 PB (a really bad one too). I totally love how my band is really making me pay attention to how I eat, not just the quantity. Still working on the quality and healthy choices part. It's been nice having the weight drop off without a lot of concious effort. But I know it won't last.
My motto for the last 2 weeks - trying to remember to eat healthier - "Eating greens is a special treat. It makes long ears and great big feet." And I try my best not to add in the last part - "(but it sure is awful stuff to eat!)"
